Community Groups

Because we are made for community, community groups are vital to the life of our church. Our community groups gather weekly in homes for socializing, Scripture discussion, sometimes a meal, and prayer. Whether you are a seasoned believer or someone who is jus starting your spiritual journey, you'll benefit from the friendships and spiritual growth cultivated in our community groups.

City on a Hill’s Community Groups are more than just once-a-week gatherings of smaller groups of people; they are communities that participate in the rhythms of life together throughout the city. Community groups are the way we live out the Christian life practically at City on a Hill. Our goal is to constantly remind one another of the good news of Jesus Christ and how that applies to every area of life.

Weekly meetings take place in various locations on various nights around the city. Group discussions each week usually focus around the sermon text from the previous Sunday. 

How do I choose a group? We always recommend that you try to find the group that meets closest to where you live. This will let you see those people you’re in group with more than just once a week. If there are several groups close to you, just choose one you think will work best. 

What about COVID-19? (Update - May 26, 2021) We will be following all guidance from governing officials regarding COVID-19. All groups for the summer will primarily be meeting outdoors, but masks will be optional.
