CoaH Kids
Visitor Info
We have children’s ministry every week for nursery through K. 1st-5th graders are invited to sit with their parents through the service any week that they’d like, but we do not offer an elementary classroom on Family Worship Sundays, which occur quarterly. There is usually a nursery, a toddlers’ class, a pre-school class, and an elementary class.
We have many children in the church, and they are always welcome to sit with their parents through the service.
When you arrive on Sunday, make your way to the CoaH Kids table in the lobby to register your children. We'll get some important information on you and your child before checking in.
We recently renovated our kids’ space!
What is CoaH Kids?
City on a Hill Kids
City on a Hill Kids - or CoaH Kids - is a growing, age-specific ministry for children in infancy through 5th grade. CoaH Kids occurs during the same time as CoaH's Sunday service gathering. At CoaH Kids, even the youngest children hear the story of Jesus Christ and are prayed for on a weekly basis. We are all about safety, Gospel centered teaching and fun!
Fun
What are the first two questions every parent asks their child when they get home from school or church? “What did you learn? Did you have fun?” We recognize this and know that all kids love having fun. We try to make learning about Jesus as fun as possible for all kids when they come through our doors!
Safety
The safety of your children is our highest priorities. All of our volunteer members have been through an application process and background check. Also we'll give you and your children a name tag with a unique identification code during check-in. Parents must provide a tag with a matching identification number in order to pick up their child.
Gospel Centered Teaching
CoaH Kids isn't childcare; it's a children’s ministry. The difference between the two are subtle yet very important. The goal of childcare is to watch your child while you go to service. Our goal in CoaH Kids is to allow children to engage with the same message and community you enjoy. We use Mustard Seeds curriculum to teach children the stories of the Bible... and that they all point to God's redemptive plan in Jesus.
